Following the latest Government guidance around non-essential travel as well as maintaining social distancing, the CIRIA & Buildoffsite teams are working from home for the time being. We continue to monitor the situation and will keep you informed of any change in our approach. Through our virtual presence, our focus on delivering tangible benefits to all our Members and contacts remains. Our teams are working hard in developing a varied webinar programme to appeal to a wide audience, reviewing alternative delivery formats for our existing training programme, developing good practice guidance as well as providing the usual level of support that you - our Members and the wider industry have come to expect. Whilst we are working from home, you can email any member of our team directly. If your query is general or you do not have the individual team member’s contact details then please email enquiries@ciria.org and our Customer Service team will pass your query to the relevant team member. We will aim to keep you up to date with news and changes via the website, email and social media. Wishing you, your families and colleagues all the very best.
Following on from the successful piling guides published in the 1970s-1980s there has been huge advancement in design standards, legislation, codes of practice, techniques, materials and equipment used. The new guidance will enable better project outcomes for managing geotechnical risk and enable the training of site personnel, designers, construction managers and ground engineering specialists.
